Bringing authentic Mexican cuisine made from high-quality ingredients to all lovers of Mexican food, along with the warm hospitality of Central America – that’s why Otoniel warmly welcome customers to his bistro, Chile y Limón, on Lidická Street in Smíchov, Prague.

Oto comes from Monterrey in northern Mexico. „I arrived in Prague eleven years ago, and ever since, I’ve been cooking and sharing the joy of Mexican food. For me, Mexican cuisine is not only a taste of home, but also a way to pass on traditions and passion for true Mexican food.“

„The idea to open my own bistro came during a visit to New York, where I discovered a taqueria with incredibly authentic flavors. It was there that the decision was made to bring this atmosphere to Prague and offer people true Mexican cuisine.“

And why is our bistro called Chile y Limón? Because spicy chili peppers and juicy lime are never missing from true Mexican cuisine… and that’s exactly what we strive to be.
